I was wondering if anyone could help me figuring out what I can do after getting the master key and decrypting the keys encrypted with A256GCM in the first keyset? I don't want to decrypt the information stored through this method, I want to confirm that the generated AUK is the correct one.Īt first I thought that the master key I found would also decrypt information in the accounts table since they seem to also be A256GCM and some resources I found mentioned it, but didn't work and I now see that the 'kids' are different. However, I'm now stuck because resources I found online mostly describe the process of how 1Password saves data for macOS or Windows and I'm trying to do this on iOS since that's the only place the account exists. I've now gone the route of trying to crack it by going through a backup of her device after generating a wordlist and iterating through it with the help of Apple Shortcuts and manually pasting and entering it to the app - yeah. I previously posted about forgetting the master password I created for my mom and I didn't write it down for her thinking it was easy to remember.
